the venue that the swimming carnival is held at is manly swim centre. its located just off pittwater road in manly across the road from keirle park. the pool has manly facilities available like an olympic sized 50m swimming pool, shaded areas for spectators, a canteen and very large changerooms with showers and toilets. the venue is suitable because its size easily accommodates cromer high schools large amount of students who attend the event as well as provide an adequate sized pool for the students to compete in effectively.
getting to the venue was by bus. each year group was spilt up and then sent onto the buses and driven from the cromer high bus bay to the swim centre, additionally students could make their own way there by car.
attendance
attendance to the carnival was as per usual low, the only real way they could make the event more attractive to students is to have free swims and other actually fun activities that people actually want to do not boring stuff.
judges and timekeeping
the judges and timekeepers were generally good and had good communication with each other and understood their positions, the only negative was that some of the teachers were a bit oblivious and biased.
